The First Floor is Poured: June 5, 2008
While we have witnessed concrete work here at Chez 311 ,it was quite a show to see the floor guys work their well orchestrated "dance of the concrete" in order to get the first floor done.
Pumped in from the street, the guys smooth and trowel out an even slab, then come back later in the day to smooth out the top layer. What's that odd machine? A mini helicopter? Upside down fan? Your guess is as good as ours.
