Brick and Block Week 5: July 4-10, 2008

Well, a week and change past "flood weekend," (for those curious as to how bad our fountain of weep hole were on that weekend, check out this video: Chez 311 "weeping falls"), the crew is now above our house, first to the third floor and now the base of the fourth. So, a bit of recon and you can see the interiors shape up...and the views of our front windows and back yard from the taller 312 23rd Street.

As an aside and update: our friendly neighborhood developer majorly blew us off after "flood weekend," finally on July 3rd at 7:30am in the morning, we chatted. After inspection of said weep holes and much tarping, we're pretty much ship shape until the building is done. Then an elaborate system of a gutter and flashing will be installed over the gap in the buildings. We're curious, but skeptical.
