Excavation and Foundation Work: March 20, 2008 to May 27, 2008
Work starts "toute-suite" after our friendly neighborhood developer pulls building permits. Monaco Construction and NY Finest Excavation get to work. Should be two weeks of work on the excavation, then foundation pour. Let's see how the crew does.
As an end note, after over two months, we here at Chez 311 learned a few things. Most laborers are AOK. Some are idiots. Most just don't care. And a few, well they are down right bad people. While we did well with most of the the guys at Monaco (foundation work), NY Finest (excavation work) did not live up to their name (unless they are the "finest" at being the dumbest outfit in Brooklyn, complete cowboys). Hopefully our friendly neighborhood developer will find better excavation companies in the future. Good start, very bad finish. Good riddance!
