Via Community Board 7. Councilmember Lander’s office and CB7′s Buildings and Construction Committee are co-hosting a meeting on Feb 6. at 6:30pm about new and ongoing construction work at 701-711 Caton Avenue and 22 Caton Place. The School Construction Authority will be updating the community on PS/IS 437 construction and the new developer for 22 Caton Place, Hudson Properties, will make a presentation about the new development and scope of construction (this was a long stalled construction site, so the new development seems to be a positive thing; you can read more on brownstoner).
While this is technically not in Greenwood Heights, it is the first meeting of CB7′s B&C committee in quite a while and the construction impact affects all of us in the community.
Here’s the details from CB7:
* Update on PS/IS 437 construction at 701-711 Caton Avenue
* Update on planned construction at 22 Caton Place

From the CCGH newsgroup on 1/23, with an update on 23 Caton Pl:
Steve Levine: Geting info about 22 Caton Place is important- what about updates on 23 Caton Place? Work has seemed to have started up (slowly) over the last month but who now owns the property, what is their time schedule looking like, what other impacts will they have on the immediate area (like bringing in cranes and other large equipment, etc.)?
Aaron Brashear: 23 Caton Pl is active again. Full permits
Unfortunately the architect is Karl Fisher. Fortunately the bones are done and he’s limited as to how fugly the building is.
CM Lander’s office is working to contact the architect or the owner to get some intel by the meeting on Feb. 6.
